Regina Pats forward Sam Steel has signed a three year entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
The 18-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta was taken 30th overall by the Ducks in the 2016 NHL Draft.
Steel leads the Western Hockey League (WHL) in scoring with 54 points (23 goals, 31 assists) in 25 games. He is also a plus 27, which is third in the league only behind teammates Chase Harrison and Sergey Zborovskiy.
